Pax App
The app cannot connect to my Momento II towel warmer (Android) | 1. Update your phone to the latest Android version (if you haven’t already). 2. If you are using the Pax Wireless app, delete it. If you are using the Pax Connect app, proceed directly to step 4. 3. Download Pax Connect from Google Play. 4. Check that you haven't added the towel warmer to your phone’s Bluetooth menu. (Settings -> Connected devices/Bluetooth -> Connected/Paired devices). If it's listed under "Connected/Paired devices," tap it and select "Forget/Remove pairing." 5. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on (on your phone) and that you are within range. 6. Press the transparent button (up) on the towel warmer for 8 seconds. The LED will then flash blue and you now have 30 seconds to connect with the app. 7. Open Pax Connect and tap the "+" symbol. 8. Select Momento and tap "Connect". 9. Wait a few seconds until the connection is complete, then tap “Finalize Setup”. 10. Choose if you want to rename the towel warmer (e.g. Upstairs Bathroom) or keep it as Momento. (This can also easily be changed later under Settings -> About the device). 11. If you have used the app Pax Wireless before, tap the gear/settings icon -> Reset Settings -> Reset to factory -> Apply -> Yes. If you haven’t used Pax Wireless before and this is your first time trying to connect to the towel warmer, you can skip this step. |

If you are using the Pax Connect app, proceed directly to step 4. 3. Download Pax Connect from the App Store. 4. Check that Pax Connect has access to "Bluetooth." This can be done in the phone’s settings (Settings -> Scroll down -> Apps -> Pax Connect). 5. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on (on your phone) and that you are within range. 6. The app cannot connect to my Norte (Android) | 1. Turn off the fan using the switch on the left side (down/counterclockwise). 2.Remove the motor head and write down the PIN code found on the circuit board on one of the motor legs. (If there is no code, your fan is not a Norte, but a Sirocco - which is not app-controlled). 3. Put the motor head back. 4. Turn the fan on again using the switch on the left side (up/clockwise). 5. Update your phone to the latest Android version (if you haven’t already). 6. Check that you haven't added the fan to your phone’s Bluetooth menu (Settings -> Connected devices/Bluetooth -> Connected/Paired devices). 7. If you are using the Pax Wireless app, delete it. If you are using the Pax Connect app, proceed directly to step 9. 8. Download Pax Connect from Google Play. 9. Check that Pax Connect has permission for “Nearby devices” and “Location.” Hold your finger on the Pax app -> App info -> Permissions. 10. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on (on your phone) and that you are within range. 11. Open Pax Connect and tap the "+" symbol. 12. Select Norte and tap "Connect." 13. Enter the PIN code (8 digits) and tap "Connect." 14. Wait a few seconds for the connection to complete, then tap "Finalize Setup." 15. Choose if you want to rename the fan (e.g. Upstairs Bathroom) or keep it as Pax Norte (This can also easily be changed later under Settings -> About the device). 16. If you have used the app Pax Wireless app before, tap the gear/settings icon -> Reset Settings -> Reset to factory -> Apply -> Yes. If you haven’t used Pax Wireless before and this is your first time trying to connect to the fan, you will automatically proceed to step 17. 17. Choose the desired mode for your fan: “Bathroom Mode” or “Heat Mover Mode” and tap "Confirm." |
