Where can I find the PIN code for my Norte? The PIN code is located on the right leg of the motor part. You detach the motor part by pulling it straight towards you.
The app is not connecting to my Norte (iOS). 1. Turn off the fan using the switch on the left side (down/counterclockwise).
2. Remove the motor head and write down the PIN code found on the circuit board on one of the motor legs. (If there is no code, your fan is not a Norte, but a Sirocco - which is not app-controlled).
3. Put the motor head back.
4. Turn the fan on again using the switch on the left side (up/clockwise).
5. Update your phone to the latest iOS version (if you haven’t already).
6. If you are using the Pax Wireless app, delete it.
If you are using the Pax Connect app, proceed directly to step 8.
7. Download Pax Connect from the App Store.
8. Check that Pax Connect has access to "Bluetooth." This can be done in the phone’s settings (Settings -> Scroll down -> Apps -> Pax Connect).
9. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on (on your phone) and that you are within range.
10. Open Pax Connect and tap the "+" symbol.
11. Select Norte and tap "Connect."
12. Enter the PIN code (8 digits) and tap "Connect."
13. Wait a few seconds until the connection is complete, then tap “Finalize Setup”.
14. Choose if you want to rename the fan (e.g. Upstairs Bathroom) or keep it as Pax Norte (This can also easily be changed later under Settings -> About the device)."
15. If you have used the app Pax Wireless before, tap the gear/settings icon -> Reset Settings -> Reset to factory -> Apply -> Yes.
If you haven’t used Pax Wireless before and this is your first time trying to connect to the fan, you will automatically proceed to step 16.
16. Choose the desired mode for your fan: “Bathroom Mode” or “Heat Mover Mode” and tap "Confirm."

I have just installed a Norte and there is power, but the fan is not starting. Check that the built-in power switch on the left side is in the on position (upward/clockwise).
My Norte has stopped and is glowing red. If it's glowing red, it needs to be resynchronized with the app/phone (likely due to a power outage, and the fan doesn't know what time it is, so it can't follow the set program).
My Norte has stopped and is glowing green.

Try resetting it through the app. Press the cogwheel icon and then select 'Reset this product.'

My Norte isn't starting after cleaning. Make sure you've turned on the power switch on the left side again (should be upward/clockwise).
